Day 1 London - Vancouver Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Heathrow Airport and your direct, scheduled Air Canada flight to Vancouver. On arrival we transfer to our hotel, the Century Plaza Hotel (3T+). This evening, a welcome dinner is included at the Rogue restaurant. Day 2 Vancouver Today we enjoy a guided tour of British Columbia’s biggest and most cosmopolitan city, Vancouver, taking in the sights of Chinatown and Gastown, the city’s oldest neighbourhood, which retains much of its Victorian architecture and historic charm. Day 3 Vancouver You are free to relax or make your own discoveries today. Perhaps make your way to Grouse Mountain, where you can see the city from the peak’s perspective and ride a gondola to the top. Day 4 Vancouver - Whistler We leave Vancouver today and head to the mountain resort town of Whistler, where we check in to our hotel for the next two nights, the Pinnacle International Hotel (3T). Our included excursion today takes us to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre where we can learn about the history and culture of the local native peoples. Day 5 Whistler This morning we enjoy a ride on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, which offers spectacular views over Whistler and the surrounding snowy peaks, forests and lakes as it travels between Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain. The rest of the day is at leisure, or there is a choice of optional excursions to choose from. Day 6 Whistler - Campbell River Our journey today is long but rewarding. We leave Whistler and travel southwards to Horseshoe Bay, where we take the ferry across to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. From here we continue onwards to the coastal city of Campbell River, making stops at the towns of Parksville, famous for its sandy beaches, and Comox, located in the beautiful Comox Valley, on the way. The town of Comox has an ancient past, but the first European colony was established in 1862 and today it is a small city with a lovely marina and quaint boutiques in which to shop. We arrive at our hotel for the next two nights, Painter’s Lodge (3T+), early this evening. Day 7 Campbell River Known as the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’, Campbell River is the ideal place for a spot of fishing, whale watching or wildlife adventures that offer the chance to get close-up views of the incredible wild creatures which inhabit this unspoilt region. Your day is free to explore. Day 8 Campbell River - Tofino Today we will travel from Campbell River to spend the next two nights on the west coast of Vancouver Island, staying at Jamie’s Rainforest Inn (3T), Tofino. This small town is known for its beaches, diverse natural beauty and rich marine life. Our journey to either destination will follow a scenic route, before turning inland and crossing the island to our destination, stopping along the way at Cathedral Grove. Day 9 Tofino Relax by the sea or explore at your own pace today. Day 10 Tofino - Victoria We travel across Vancouver Island to its easternmost tip today, to spend the last two nights of our tour in the capital of British Columbia, Victoria. We will be staying at the Embassy Inn Hotel (3T). Day 11 Victoria We embark on a sightseeing tour of Victoria this morning, visiting the world-famous Butchart Gardens, created in a reclaimed limestone quarry in 1904, and now a National Historic Site. Covering some 30 acres, it contains a series of themed gardens, including Italian, Japanese and Rose gardens, planted with thousands of brightly coloured flowers. You are free to explore Victoria independently this afternoon. Day 12 Victoria - Vancouver - In flight We leave Victoria behind and drive to Swartz Bay, to take the ferry to Tsawwassen. Our onward transfer takes us to Vancouver and on to the airport for our direct, scheduled Air Canada flight to London. Day 13 London Arrival at London Heathrow Airport where you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
