Itinerary
Day 1: We will pick you up from your hotel and depart early for Eceabat.Upon arrival, you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Afterwards, we drive to the entrance of the beautiful Gelibolu National Park. We will pay a visit to he famous Kabatepe War Museum, the eerie Beach Cemetery and the famous for the soldiers lying there yet really charming ANZAC Cove. Our next places of interest will be Ari Burnu, Lone Pine Cemetery, the war trenches at Johnston´s Jolly, Shrapnel Valley, the spectacular Turkish Memorial, The Nek and Walker´s Ridge, Chunuk Bair memorial. Following the tour we drive back to Eceabat for the night. Day 2: After breakfast, we depart for the ferryboat to cross the Dardanelles. Following half an hour drive, we proceed to the legendary city of Troy, where the Trojan War between Greeks and Trojans took place in 1250 BC. Troy was a very important and advanced settlement in the Bronze Age. A replica of Trojan horse can be also seen. To date, nine strata were identified and dated down to up. Later we depart for the charming Canakkale, where we will have free time to explore this beautiful city by the Dardanelle Strait before departing for Istanbul.
