Itinerary
Depart from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00am for Samburu Game Reserve. In clear weather, the peak of Mt. Kenya may be seen and you will by-pass very pleasant country-side with coffee and tea plantations. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.
Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge in the mid afternoon. Samburu is north of the equator and contains rare, drought resistant animal species which go for long periods of time without water....
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart for Sweetwater’s, arriving in time for check-in formalities and lunch. An afternoon game drive will follow during which you can view plain game and also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary within. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp
After breakfast, proceed for a game drive. After lunch at the lodge, depart for Nairobi; on the drive is a good opportunity to take in the tranquil mountain atmosphere, the pleasant countryside with a possibility of sighting the peak of Mt. Kenya if you run into persistent clear weather. Arrive in the evening to be dropped off at your hotel.
