Day 1: Amsterdam

Welcome to the Netherlands! Transfer to your first class hotel. Due to various arrival times no meals or activities are planned for today.

Day 2: Amsterdam Country Side – Embarkation After 3 Pm

After breakfast and check-out and embark on a half day excursion to view the famous wind mills of Zaanse Schans followed by visits to the charming villages of Volendam, where you will visit a cheese museum/factory and Marken where you will delight...

Day 3: Amsterdam

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

After breakfast on board, enjoy a half day city tour of Amsterdam including Dam square, Central Station, the Westerchurch, Anne Frank house and other attractions. Set sail during lunch. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the Captain and the crew.

Day 4: Cologne

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

WELCOME TO GERMANY! Morning at sail. PM walking tour including Hey Market, Festival Halls, Town Hall, Jewish Baths, Old Market, and Cologne’s the Dom, the remarkable Gothic cathedral whose construction began in 1248 and was only completed in 1880.

Day 5: A.M.-Koblenz: P.M.-Ruedesheim Cruise

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Koblenz: Walking tour of Old Town including St. Castor’s Basilica the Monument of Emperor Wilhelm I and the town’s landmark, the “Schängel” Fountain. Ruedesheim: Delightful walking tour through this ancient town of timber houses and cobblestone streets dating from the 1500 hundreds and on UNESCO’s World Heritage list!

Day 6: Mainz

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Walking tour will include the Town hall, Historical Center St. Martin’s Cathedral and the Gutenberg Museum. Continue sailing at lunchtime.

Day 7: Strasbourg

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

WELCOME TO FRANCE! Sail the Rhine along the border between Germany and France with arrival in Strasbourg, on the French side of the river. Bus tour of Strasbourg will include the Place de la Republique, Orangerie, EU Parilament, and Cathédrale de Nôtre Dame. This evening enjoy the Captain’s Farewell Dinner, followed by live music in the Bar.

Day 8: Basel

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

WELCOME TO SWITZERLAND! Your walking tour will include the emblem of Basel, its Minster, the red city hall, the Antonius Church and more. Lunch on board. The balance of the days is free for exploring and strolling around this charming city on your own.

Day 9: Basel – Lucerne – Zurich- Disembark

Meals: Breakfast

Disembark and depart (1hr) on your first stop – the beautiful alpine city of Lucerne! After touring the Old Town enjoy some free time for brosing and lunch on own. Then, continue on to Zurich (1hr) where you will enjoy another sightseeing tour ...

MS “Alemannia”
This elegant “old world” lady was originally built in 1991 and has since gone through consistent updates and renovations, the most recent in 2013. She features 92 cabins for a maximum of 184 passengers spread over 2 decks. The low deck cabins are a comfortable 12 sq m (130 sq ft) with 2 portholes. The upper deck cabins are slightly larger (12.8 sq m = 140 sq ft) with big picture windows. 2 JR suites are double the size (256 sq ft). All cabins feature two twin size beds, one of which converts into a sofa by day, a table/chair/vanity mirror, air conditioning, TV’s and private bathrooms with showers. Breakfasts and lunches are served buffet style while dinners are sit down, 4 course affairs. A young and enthusiastic European crew of 38 and a multi lingual Cruise manager provide excellent service! Non-smoking interiors and Wifi available in public areas.
Cancellation policy

If You Cancel:  If you must cancel your trip, you must do so in writing. Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation. All payments for travel services not provided to the passenger shall be refunded in accordance with these Terms and Conditions:

Administrative Fee:  Once we receive your initial deposit, there is a non-refundable fee of $125 per person for each program you cancel, regardless of the reason. This fee reflects only our costs of administering the reservation and subsequent cancellation, re-stocking the inventory and reselling the space at last minute notice, and is not intended to be punitive in any way. We realize the majority of those who cancel their reservations do so out of necessity. To receive a refund, your air tickets, cruise tickets and land vouchers must be returned to Value World Tours, Inc. Any applicable refunds will be processed within 60 days after our receipt of your written cancellation and travel documents.

Cancellation Received  and  Charge Per Person

  • 120 -91Days: $250 -  Loss of deposit
  • 90 – 61 Days: 25%    of the total program cost
  • 60 – 46 Days: 50%    of the total program cost
  • 45 – 31 Days: 75%    of the total program cost
  • 30 Days or less: 100%  of the total program cost
