What's this trip about?

WildChina has specially prepared this itinerary for travelers who want to go above and beyond the typical itinerary. This journey is an expedition to unearth the hidden sites that the gorgeous land of Tibet has to offer. Walk in the shade of the pyramid-shaped Tholing Monastery, and breathe in the crisp fresh air in front of an uninterrupted view of the Himalayan border stretching between India, Tibet, and Nepal. Join the pilgrimage route in Gyantse and explore the vast Changtang plateau and the nomad camps that often settle there. Take in the scenic sights and mellow sounds of Tibetan villages and their farming lands and the crystal blue Lake Mansarovar. They are sights far removed from coastal eastern China, and ones that truly allow you to Experience China Differently.
