"I was very disappointed with the unfriendly and dictatorial chief guide during my experience. When I disclosed that I had started taking Diamox, he humiliated me by criticizing its use and claiming that doctors were completely wrong. He insisted that I must reduce the dosage. Despite advertising the Rainier climb as suitable for novice climbers with little or no previous experience, the guides were very strict with their timing. If you were even slightly behind while hiking to Camp Muir, let's say by 15 minutes, the guides would repeatedly tell you that "you are not going to make it." They enforced stringent rules and showed no flexibility whatsoever. Their constant demotivating messages left me discouraged, and as a result, I decided to drop out. Furthermore, their rigidity extended to gear as well. It seemed like they were more motivated to steer people towards renting their gear."

The activities catered to our satisfaction. They are provided with lots of patience. Every staff member is so friendly and they ensure that you enjoy the outing. We were a family with people from all are groups. They took care of every individual needs. Our aged mother was made very comfortable, and they arranged a chair for her at every activity area. We spent almost two days and one night. And we enjoyed every moment. If one is looking for a good outing, this is the place. Total value for money. "Our Azores trip was excellent except for a bit of rain :-); The volcano hikes were spectacular and the side trip notes were very helpful. Doing the volcano hikes was fantastic, especially being high enough to see the Atlantic Ocean to the south and the north, beautiful! We also enjoyed the beach walks and walking to town from our hotel, Santa Barbara Eco Hotel. We stayed at the Santa Barbara Eco Hotel which was excellent. The room, property, pool and spa and services were all excellent. We enjoyed meals everyday at their restaurant which where all excellent. A very relaxing and restful and comfortable hotel. The restaurant at the Santa Barbara Eco Hotel is excellent as is there sister property, The White House, were we enjoyed a spectacular sunset and dinner one night.
