What travelers are saying

"Another wonderful trip organised by the team at Audley Travel. This time we arranged a holiday to South Africa. Robyn Hutchons was our advisor and her personal experience and knowledge was invaluable in planning the holiday. The local ground agents in South Africa were extremely helpful in resolving some car hire problems. All in all, I have no hesitation in recommending Audley and we will certainly be using them again for our holidays."

What travelers are saying

"I enrolled early in the French Art Voyage because of the caliber of the sites visited: no visit to the overly crowded Louvre but rather to Monet’s Giverny and Cezanne’s studio. A preliminary itinerary I just received has no mention of Giverny so I went online to be sure it was still open. It is. I checked Cezanne’s studio and found it closed for renovation. I called Road Scholar to ask why Giverny was canceled and did they mean Cezanne perhaps. A customer service rep was clueless. I spelled Giverny to her twice. She put me on hold for 15 minutes, returned and said someone would contact me. I told her to wait a minute. I had more. Was Cezanne’s studio to be canceled as well.? Five days later I get an email from Judith telling me Giverny was not officially on the itinerary, Cezanne’s studio had to be removed due to renovation and I could not see the Mona Lisa!!! I responded saying I sensed some bait and switch also reminding her I NEVER asked about the Mona Lisa. She replied telling me how to arrange Giverny for myself and reiterating that I could not see the Mona Lisa!!!! I have experienced ageism but not gaslighting like this. I am not an old fool who imagined Giverny on the itinerary. I am not an old fool insisting on a Mona Lisa that was not. Road Scholar has no business marketing to elders with staff like this."

What travelers are saying

"I would like to thank Yampu Tours for assembling a wonderful nine-day trip to Chiapas and Oaxaca states in Mexico in February, 2025. The sights for which Yampu arranged visits and the accomodations they chose were unique, fascinating and charming. The schedules were busy and full of interest but not overwhelming. The tour guides were warm and accommodating, deeply knowledgeable and fluent in English. The drivers were interesting and skilled at traversing the mountain roads and all those topes! The two states of Chiapas and Oaxaca, and their marvelous colonial-era cities of San Cristobal de las Casas and Oaxaca city are colorful, historic and highly scenic, and the ruins of Palenque, Monte Alban and Mitla amply illustrate the rich, diverse and deeply ancient cultural roots of Mexican civilization. I would especially like to commend the in-country guides Gabriel (Palenque to Agua Azul), Jesus (Palenque to San Cristobal), Angelina (San Cristobal to Sumidero Canyon), and Alex (Oaxaca) for their extensive knowledge and kind company. Yampu’s choices of hotel—notably Piedras de Agua in Palenque, Guayaba Inn in San Cristobal, and Hotel Pug Seal in Oaxaca—were unique, comfortable small inns with large, comfortable rooms and lovely garden courtyards and nice breakfasts. AeroMexico’s flights booked by Yampu, despite the inevitable 3-hour layovers in Mexico City International airport, were efficient, cordial and comfortable and delivered me to my destinations on time. AeroMexico’s terminal 2 at Mexico City is crowded but has ample shopping and food choices to pass the layover time; it is substantially more comfortable for transit than terminal 1. Paying the surcharge for AM-plus seating is worth the cost for the extra leg room and early access to the overhead bins for carry-on luggage. Working with Yampu's management and staff, and their in-country colleagues to assemble this tour was easy and delightful."

What travelers are saying

"2 hours ago New Our experience with Kuoda was outstanding! From beginning to end, it was first class. They customized a 4 day trip to Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu for us, allowing us to leave our cruise ship in Lima and catch back up with them in Manta, Ecuador 4 days later. Wonderful travel agent that accommodated our every request, fantastic guides. The food was amazing, the accomodations top notch. The personal touches really made it special, from the Whatsapp group set up for our trip to makes us feel in touch and up to date on what was happening, to the surprise visit from the local Supervisor and Owner who met us at our hotel is Cusco. I can not recommend Kuoda enough......if you are planning a trip to South America you need to contact them!"
