"After Sagres rejected our requests to postpone our family trip of 13 to Madeira during the Omicron COVID outbreak and dispelled concerns about our safety on the trip, Sagres representatives, who were purportedly acting as the tour's feet-on-the-ground in Madeira, did not make the trip, and we had virtually no assistance after we tested positive for COVID after our arrival in Madeira. Besides not being able to enjoy the pre-paid trip due to quarantine requirements, my family incurred additional costs for the resulting extra hotel nights, return flights, and COVID testing. Requests to Sagres to assist with recouping these costs from the airlines and hotel went unanswered. It by far is the worse travel experience I have had in my 60 years."

"I’ve had two great adventures with this company. Both journeys offered a combo of moderate off the beaten path and times for luxury. Guides are highly knowledgeable and they offered us opportunity to go deep into history. I really appreciated some rugged moments. The South Africa trip was life changing for many reasons.
