Highlights

Starting from the soaring heights of the Serra da Estrela mountains and concluding on the Silver Coast of the Atlantic Ocean, this epic road cycling journey provides a rich cross section of Portugal’s ruggedly beautiful terrain. While the climbing is tough, the rewards are plentiful: dramatic landscapes, medieval castles, idyllic countryside, picturesque stone villages, delicious cuisine, and cozy hotels. We begin on a literal high note, meeting in Portugal’s highest altitude city of Guarda. The following days we traverse a vast plateau and conquer climbs in and around the Serra da Estrela, taking in views of glacial valleys, vast forests, and jagged cliffs. We overnight in mountain villages and towns, a standout being Piodão; renowned for its unique centuries’ old stone houses draped over steep slopes. We continue southwest along ridges, river valleys, and endless stretches of olive groves, riding from one storied historic town to the next. In Tomar we’ll marvel at the stunning Convent of Christ built by the Knights Templar and in Alcobaça we'll explore a grand Monastery dating to the reign of Portugal's first monarch. We reach the Atlantic coast in spectacular fashion by riding up and down the seaside accompanied by visuals of wave-battered bluffs, tranquil lagoons and golden beaches. The last night is spent in Óbidos, with its fairytale-like hilltop fortress, cobblestoned streets, and locally made cherry liqueur. On the final morning we drop you off in Lisbon where you can explore the stunning capital city before traveling onwards. Join us on this unforgettable road biking journey across Central Portugal!

Highlights

South Korea seamlessly blends age-old traditions with state-of-the-art modernity. Dubbed the "Land of the Morning Calm," the peninsular nation evokes images of misty mountains, serene rivers, and ancient heritage. Yet, alongside this tranquility, throbs an electrifying pulse in the metropolitanism of its bustling cities and the technological dynamism in all things from commerce to transport. This tour has been designed to give you a taste of authentic Korea as we ride leisurely along the country’s world-class cycling paths to discover both the old and the new. Starting in Seoul, we hit the ground running with a ramble through its historic core before spending five days cycling beside wide rivers that meander through rolling hills, vast farmlands, and thriving towns. We reserve a day for an off-saddle exploration of Andong Hahoe Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back 600 years, and the tour ends back in Seoul. Most nights are spent in small cities hardly visited by foreign tourists, and during mealtimes we let loose on the diverse and delectable world of Korean cuisine!Join us on this delightful Korean cycling journey, showcasing some of the country’s finest inland cycling routes and scenery. As the tour starts and ends in Seoul, the adventure is perfect for those who want to add an active and off-the-beaten path element to a longer Korean holiday or those with more limited time looking to make the most out of 9 days in the country.

Highlights

Northern Thailand is the country’s premier mountain and gravel biking destination. A network of backroads winds through lush valleys and misty mountains, featuring single tracks through rainforests, farmer trails across tropical fields, narrow village lanes, and smooth highland roads coiling up the hillsides. These trails invite us to journey beyond the usual routes and experience northern Thailand — or “Lanna,” as it’s known locally — at its finest!Starting from bustling Chiang Mai, we begin with a warm-up ride through the flat plains surrounding the Ping River before venturing deeper into the hilly terrain of northern Thailand. We ride along forest trails and backcountry roads, visit the sacred Chiang Dao Caves, and unwind at a riverside hotel by the Mae Kok River. We then board a boat to fast-track ourselves downstream before cycling through a valley that leads to Chiang Rai, exploring the fantastical White Temple along the way. Next, we head back into the mountains for a challenging, leg-testing climb into the highlands of Doi Mae Salong, famed for its tea plantations and Chinese heritage. After an exhilarating descent, we unwind at a stylish eco-resort before heading deeper into hilltribe country. We conquer a climb up to Doi Tung before descending onto rice-covered plains, leading to the iconic Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos converge at the confluence of the Mekong River. We spend the night in the sleepy riverside town of Chiang Saen, then return to Chiang Mai, where we cap off our adventure with a thrilling downhill blitz from Doi Suthep. The tour ends in Chiang Mai.Join us on this action-packed journey into the backcountry of Lanna!

Highlights

The Colombian Andes form the northernmost stretch of this majestic South American mountain range. Lofty peaks shrouded in cloud forests, rugged canyons carved by rushing rivers, and foothills dotted with cattle pastures and coffee plantations create an intriguing landscape for a bike journey. A long history and living heritage are ever-present in the traditions of indigenous groups and the terracotta-hued architecture of towns built by Spanish explorers. This 12-day bike journey takes us from the capital, Bogotá, north through the Departments of Boyacá and Santander, riding from one heritage-rich Andean town to the next, each seemingly lifted from a painting. We tackle gravel roads, conquer technical climbs and descents, take in breathtaking views, sip fresh coffee, discover local crafts, savour traditional cuisine, and embrace the spirited charm of Colombian hospitality!Starting from Bogotá’s high-altitude urban buzz, we drive north for a gentle warm-up ride in the Andean foothills, leading us to the cliffs of Suarez. Over the next few days, the cycling gets longer, higher, and tougher as we ride a mix of paved and gravel roads through an agrarian hinterland filled with cattle ranches, farmlands, and villages where artisans craft colourful ponchos and intricate ceramics. Next, the scenery shifts dramatically as we traverse the Candelaria Desert – the “desert of souls” – with its arid moorlands, rocky paths, and an ancient astronomical observatory. After a night in Villa de Leyva, one of Colombia’s best-preserved colonial towns, we transition into the highlands of Santander, riding past waterfalls, through rainforests, and past stone churches. The final two riding days take us up and down the Suarez River valley along winding gravel roads, culminating in an ascent to Barichara, one of the country's most beautiful heritage towns, perched atop a plateau. We end by exploring this gem of a town on foot before transferring to Bucaramanga for onward flights or extended stays.Join us on this adrenaline-pumping, culturally-enriching bike adventure through the Colombian Andes!
