Itinerary
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to accommodation for the night. Meet the trip crew and conduct a bike fitting in the afternoon.
Escape the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu for a full day of non-stop singletrack and shuttling on the edge of the Kathmandu valley. A variety of challenging trails, the course for the yearly Grand Himalaya Enduro Series, is the perfect warm-up ride for the trip.
Arise early to make the long transfer from Nagarkot to the Himalayan foothills. Warm up the legs with a short jeep track ride to the evening's accommodation in the afternoon.
Ride a combination of double and singletrack on a ride from Jhapre to Pikey Peak basecamp, through quaint mountainside villages and rhododendron forest. Fantastic scenery helps to keep the pace for acclimatization to the high altitude.
Today's ride is one of the biggest ones of the trip- climb to the top of Pikey Peak, then enjoy an adrenaline rush on the descent down. Spend the afternoon on wild singletrack in the forest just outside of the surrounding villages.
A satisfying day of pure forest singletrack in the areas around our stay in Phaplu.
Transfer to Raatnage to access more single and jeep tracks along the river. Overnight in the charming local village of Junbesi.
A fast and dynamic day of riding on singletracks through the surrounding villages and mountainsides.
Travel back to Kathmandu by air, on a short domestic flight. Meet up for a farewell dinner in the evening.
Transfer to the airport for departure and onward travels.
