Our trip to Morocco was a trip of a lifetime. I am so proud to be able to say that I camped in the Sahara Desert under the most brilliant cluster of stars during a cool November night. I can say that I slept in a guest house and hiked in the High Atlas Mountains. That I got to sleep in a riyad, watch women make argan oil and witness goats climbing trees! Joining my group on the South Morocco Discovery was eye opening. Our tour guide, Issam, was awesome - so knowledgeable on the current political and cultural climate as well as the history of the peoples of Morocco. He made sure we were well taken care of (a few of us got carsick during overland journeys) and made sure we had a lot of fun, too!

The trip was well organized with excellent activities but primarily because the guide made us feel welcome, worked hard to shelter us from the hassles of travel, and was extremely well respected by people we met along the way. He opened doors for us by being kind, good natured and respectful of others regardless of their role. They offered a little extra as a result. So it made a good trip great. He also answered every question we had and worked hard to keep us healthy which I really appreciated.

Simply because it's a good way to travel . Like minded people for company and destinations that are interesting and sometimes out of the way . Maybe some of the driving from destination to destination was a bit of a chore but never mind , you can't avoid it
