I absolutely loved the Mount Blanc hike, one of the best things I have done. Our 
Guide Peter Meyers was excellent. Informative, read the group well and very entertaining. Our group enjoyed his company immensely. The Accommodation was comfortable, clean and well located. The young lady by the name of Rafa who served us dinner was such a delight and asset to the Hotel. Aurora one of the owners of the Hotel was so amazingly kind &amp; generous it was a pleasant to have meet her and her husband. Thank you for making our stay such fun.

Highlights of Mont Blanc

Excellent trip, hiking the highlights of Mont Blanc and staying in a hotel in Les Houches instead of changing  hotels every night. Comfortable hotel, rooms with veranda and a view of the mountains. Breakfast has fresh ingredients, however, not have many options and it can get repetititive after a few days. Dinner at the hotel was very good. 
The hikes: if you are lucky with the weather, the views are amazing. The weather can change rather quickly though. Be prepared to walk in all weather (we got snowy weather in our hike in mid September!). The hikes are moderately challenging, but not too difficult. Make sure to wear hiking shoes that provide good grip on rocky terrain. The most challenging hike, but also the most beautiful, is the one to Lac Blanc. 
Note that the group uses local busses and trains to reach the trails. Be prepared: busses are crowded, unpleasantly so. For future trips, Explore should consider using private transportation, instead. It would make things easier. 
All in all, excellent trip. I warmly recommend it.

Beautiful trip!  Pete Myers our guide was excellent. He knew the geology, the flowers and general history of the area.  He made the challenging parts of the hike easier by guiding us.  Beautiful landscape!  The French Alps are amazing!

Fab tour loved every minute! Peter Myer made it the best thank you Explore! Aurora and Raffa were amazing at Hotel du Bois made us feel right at home!  A little suggestion (not complaint) would have loved an English speaking channel on the tv.

Private van transportation would be an improvement over the crowded buses getting to the beginning of the daily hikes.

Great hikes and beautiful views. The hotel is extremely well situated, with a little supermarket, restaurants, bars, bus stops, and a train station all within easy walking distance. It was easy to get to and from Chamonix for shopping and excursions on the free day. Picnic lunches were provided during the hikes, but it would have been easy to pack my own lunch each day with supplies from the store near the hotel. The hotel had small fridges in the rooms, so also easy to store food and drinks. The hotel had good amenities (restaurant, bar, pool, sauna), and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Four of the evening meals were at the hotel restaurant, but the “set” menu had enough variety to keep everyone happy. 
Some of the hikes were more challenging than a couple members of our group bargained for, and our guide moved relatively quickly, so understand what you’re getting into. There are some long steep inclines and descents that aren’t optional, even if you plan to use the cable cars when offered. 
Overall enjoyable trip, recommend!
