What travelers are saying

"Mario Marin is a gem!!! Tom and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip with him and driver Pablo. His unbridled enthusiasm and knowledge about all things Costa Rica kept us excited day after day! He is a wonderful person with a happy, friendly disposition, and impressively articulate and well informed. As a guide he was able to spot and identify birds that we could just barely see. As for the itinerary, it was the perfect amount of time in each location. We saw all the different monkeys and even the elusive Quetzal! Thank you so much! This trip was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us. Josh and Wild Planet Adventures will always be highly recommended by us!"

"We joined the RV Mekong Pandaw in Kampong Cham for a 3 night cruise to Phnom Penh. I wish we had booked for 7 nights! Amazing staff, gorgeous staterooms, a welcoming and comfortable sun deck and saloon bar. The ship is beautiful and was the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by. Thank you Pandaw for a truly fantastic holiday experience. Your staff are courteous, hard working and lots of fun to be around. Brilliant."

What travelers are saying

"Remote Lands created an extraordinary adventure for my daughter and me. Its team delivered the highest level of service and attention to the smallest of details. Our two weeks in Thailand were filled with an expansive array of cultural, culinary, shopping, athletic, environmental, and even spiritual experiences. Our trip was curated to meet a precise and demanding set of expectations; and Remote Lands surpassed those expectations in every way. In Bangkok, we visited amazing temples and were invited to participate in sacred ceremonial blessings, toured artist colonies, visited the flower district, learning about floral design and lunching with artisans, dined at the highest-end restaurants as well as out-of-the way places frequented by locals. In Chiang Mai, our visit to an elephant sanctuary was sublime, as were private culinary classes, complete with shopping at the local out-door market, and later hiking amidst glorious water falls. In Phuket, we enjoyed days of sailing, snorkeling, and windsurfing excursions, as well as much-needed pampering and spa services. At each venue, our luxury accomadations wowed. Equally, or perhaps even important to this dream experience, were the Remote Lands our personal expert guides, all so convivial and congenial; they provided in-depth cultural and historical perspective, as well as VIP access at every turn. I could not recommend Remote Lands more highly."

What travelers are saying

"I was very excited to support a Canadian company, but unfortunately, this trip was anything but blissful. The tour guide was unprofessional, incompetent, and inappropriate. He was reported in the middle of the trip because of how vulgar he was being with the girls on the tour. Guided tours are supposed to be a haven for young, solo travelers and, unfortunately, this tour was the nightmarish opposite. If you plan on booking a trip with this company, please dig into who your guide will be, how many trips they have done, and what kind of reviews they have had. Additionally, the accommodations, activities, and transportation included in this trip cost a sliver of what I paid. I completely understand the additional cost of paying the full-time guides, and the price of convenience that comes from a trip being planned for you, but unfortunately, I did not get my money’s worth with LBW. Following my friends and my dissatisfaction with the tour and the inappropriate guide, LBW’s customer support team was unfortunately slow to respond, disorganized, and inconsistent with their suggested solutions. Please, save your money, and book with another company."

What travelers are saying

"I went on this trip with some misgivings, as my only other experience with this type of tour was a winter Tauck Family Bridges tour of Italy, that was not a good experience. Well, I am SO glad I went, as my daughter and I had a marvelous time. Disney did an amazing job of organizing this trip - I still can't believe how much they managed to fit into essentially 8 days. I also can't believe how much fun it all was! The guides were tremendous. First of all, unlike Tauck (where we traveled with one tour manager), here we had two guides with us the entire time - one a licensed guide in Greece (i.e., a native, very knowledgeable about the country and able to really take us through the historical and archaeological sites) and the other an American who has been guiding in Greece for years. The interaction between the guides was very warm, as was their way of relating to the guests. This was a complete contrast with Tauck. Here people really got to know each other, the young people had a great time with each other, and, of course, Greece itself is just magnificent. I will certainly travel with Disney again!"

What travelers are saying

"I can honestly say that joining the GVI Turtle and Lemon Shark Conservation Project was the best thing I have ever done. It is an experience I will value for the rest of my life. Right from the very beginning with the field manual I knew this trip was going to be amazing but nothing can prepare you for how stunning it is. I remember one day, I was chilling in the hammock before dinner when I saw a juvenile Lemon Shark and a ray. I called everyone and we watched the shark almost beach itself on a few occasions. However the best experience for me was when I was lucky enough to see not 1 or 2 but 3 Hawksbill Turtles lay their eggs all in one day. It was magical. The staff were so knowledgeable and were always happy to help. I have learnt to cook food for 25 people with very limited cooking equipment and ingredients, loved every Friday BBQ night and made friends for life."
