What travelers are saying

"My wife and I were on the Smithsonian Journeys Splendors of Australia and New Zealand between April 13 and May 2, 2018. Smithsonian is rated by this site as Luxury travel. However, Smithsonian "farms out" the logistics for their trip to Odysseys Unlimited. Odysseys booked within country air travel with the lowest cost air carriers. Flights were cancelled from Ayers Rock to Sydney and from Queenstown New Zealand to Rotorua. Another flight was significantly delayed so that we did not arrive at our Christchurch destination until 2:00 am, making for a really tired next day. Odysseys Unlimited compensated us $400 per person for missing a day in Sydney and paid for an excursion in Auckland for missing Rotorua. This was wholly inadequate, given that these were highlights of the trip. In addition, our tour guide was rude to several people on the trip. If Smithsonian Journeys is truly a luxury travel outfit, as we had believed, then they would not be farming out travel logistics to such a chinch company as Odysseys Unlimited. We will think twice about traveling with Smithsonian again, and so should others."

What travelers are saying

"Why Trek to Everest Base Camp in 2022 Don't you think it's time to put on your shoes and pack up the bags to trek the Everest base camp, which is the land of real-life time adventure? Well, tourism is back with the greater smack of bounce back in 2022! Bye-bye to the dull old days of covid! Trekking to Everest base camp in 2022 can be the best option to re-explore the world, abandoning the virtual world's life within a corner of a room towards the nature's open field encircled with the majestic Himalayas, sherpa people, boundless flora, and fauna with the challenging and enticing routes. Travel is more complicating as of now than before. Borders seem to reopen after a long time. A once-simple visa on entry to the airport is replaced with piles of paperwork (Covid reports). And the whole world is even not sure when a new variant will make headlines. So start your journey as early as possible! Everything we will serve the same as before. Still, there are some essential things you must consider before trekking to Everest base camp in 2022, is don't forget to follow the traveling guidelines and new laws imposed by the Nepal government."

What travelers are saying

"We have travelled with this Company on numerous holidays and never had a complaint. The hotels we have stayed at have been clean, comfortable and staff friendly and efficient. Tour guides are good and very informative about places visited and the history of these places, Got back today from visiting Ireland and the Giants Causeway and again the holiday was excellent, the Station Hotel in Letterkenny was clean, comfortable with friendly staff and Brian Dodd certainly made sure we had a good holiday. Thank you to all concerned."

"Another wonderful trip organised by the team at Audley Travel. This time we arranged a holiday to South Africa. Robyn Hutchons was our advisor and her personal experience and knowledge was invaluable in planning the holiday. The local ground agents in South Africa were extremely helpful in resolving some car hire problems. All in all, I have no hesitation in recommending Audley and we will certainly be using them again for our holidays."

What travelers are saying

"I enrolled early in the French Art Voyage because of the caliber of the sites visited: no visit to the overly crowded Louvre but rather to Monet’s Giverny and Cezanne’s studio. A preliminary itinerary I just received has no mention of Giverny so I went online to be sure it was still open. It is. I checked Cezanne’s studio and found it closed for renovation. I called Road Scholar to ask why Giverny was canceled and did they mean Cezanne perhaps. A customer service rep was clueless. I spelled Giverny to her twice. She put me on hold for 15 minutes, returned and said someone would contact me. I told her to wait a minute. I had more. Was Cezanne’s studio to be canceled as well.? Five days later I get an email from Judith telling me Giverny was not officially on the itinerary, Cezanne’s studio had to be removed due to renovation and I could not see the Mona Lisa!!! I responded saying I sensed some bait and switch also reminding her I NEVER asked about the Mona Lisa. She replied telling me how to arrange Giverny for myself and reiterating that I could not see the Mona Lisa!!!! I have experienced ageism but not gaslighting like this. I am not an old fool who imagined Giverny on the itinerary. I am not an old fool insisting on a Mona Lisa that was not. Road Scholar has no business marketing to elders with staff like this."
