What's this trip about?

Created in 1922 as one of Europe's first National Parks, the Gran Paradiso National Park, in northern Italy, has come to symbolize how man and nature can interact without negative consequences for each other. Designed as a through hike for the experienced hiker, this walk is both taxing and rewarding. With nights in comfortable mountain huts the days on the trail will provide a window into this little-known park, off the beaten trail, yet close to Milan and Turin.
