Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Buenos Aires.
Arrive in Buenos Aires. Have the afternoon to explore Argentina's diverse capital.
Fly to the world's most southerly city of Ushuaia where you can sample the local delicacy - king crab!
Free time in the morning to explore the city before you board the ship and set sail along the Beagle Channel.Settle in to your cabin (this version is based on a mid range twin cabin with an ensuite)
You will enter Drakes Passage at around 2am and the day will be spent making your want across this notorious stretch of water.Surprisingly the wildlife spotting on the way can be amazing with wandering albatross, Wilsons petrel and even blue whales possible.
Come to the end of the Drake Passage and start to spot the first icebergs as you approach the South Shetland Island and the Antarctic Peninsula.
Shore landings and excursions on the Antarctic Peninsula and nearby islands such as Petermand, Livingston and Deception. There will generally be two excursions per day.

Start crossing back over the Drake Passage.

Early morning arrival back in Ushuaia and transfer to the airport for a flight to Buenos Aires, where you will spend the night.We have kept this itinerary short but we would also recommend that, of you have time, you head out to an estancia to relax for a day or two....

Arrive home today to complete your journey.
