Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Panama City.
Arrive in Panama City today, where you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel in private vehicle.
Tour of Panama City including the historic quarter and the Miraflores Locks.
Today you will take partial transit of the world-famous Panama Canal.
Fly to the San Blas Islands and transfer to your lodge. Afternoon to relax or start trying some excursions.
Full day for excursions in the San Blas Islands - you could visit the indigenous Kuna communities, go snorkelling, or arrange boat trips to other islands.
Fly back to Panama City and on to Tranquilo Bay.
Time for activities from Tranquilo Bay - you could go kayaking, snorkelling, fishing or arrange nature walks and bird watching.
At leisure in Tranquilo Bay - other activities include surfing, swimming or visiting some of the remote islands of the archipelago.
Transfer from Tranquilo Bay to the border and in to Costa Rica. You will travel overland to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca on the laid-back Caribbean Coast.
Full day excursion to the Cahuita National Park, exploring the jungle trails in search of monkeys, bird and sloth, in addition to snorkelling at the nearby coral reef.
Transfer inland to Costa Rica's activity hub at the Arenal Volcano.
Morning guided tour of Arenal's rainforest trail and complex of Hanging Bridges. This afternoon visit the Volcano National Park, through tropical forest and finishing at the old lava flows. You will then travel to a nearby hot springs complex for a relaxing soak under the stars with dinner included.
Free day for further activities in Arenal - you may wish to consider a full day excursion to a wildlife refuge, trekking, kayaking, white water rafting or canopy zip lining.
Transfer to Costa Rica's Northern Pacific Coast for some beach relaxation.

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
