Itinerary
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to San Jose. You'll arrive in San Jose and be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel for the night. The afternoon will be at leisure to relax and explore the city by foot.
Today you'll be picked up from your hotel in San Jose and transferred to Puerto Caldera in Puntarenas in time to embark your cruise in the afternoon.
You'll sail past Isla Negritas on your way to Manuel Antonio where you'll enjoy a tour of this famous wildlife reserve with your guide. After the ship continues on to Playa Biesanz where you can swim in the bright blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.
The next day you'll arrive at Osa Peninsula, which is home to one of the Americas' best nature reserves, Corcovado National Park. You'll spend the day walking through the dense jungle in search of monkeys, macaws and the present but always elusive tapir. In the afternoon you can visit a nearby Orchid sanctuary or swim in the protected bay.
You'll wake up in a new country, swimming and snorkelling in the morning at Restingue Island in Panama before continuing on to Cebaco Island for a beach side BBQ lunch and afternoon to relax.
Today you arrive in Darien, the southernmost point of Panama where you'll visit a local Embera village to learn about their well preserved culture, listen to some live music, view some of their beautiful handicrafts and enjoy a local meal.
The cruise continues on to the Pearl Islands. Most famous as the site of the US TV series, Survivor, these are some of the most beautiful beaches in the Americas. You'll spend the enjoying snorkelling and swimming before a BBQ and the continue on to Panama City.
You'll stretch your legs with a morning visit to the Gatun Locks to witness the Panama Canal in action. Throughout the day you'll also explore old Spanish colonial forts and the Canal museum to learn more about the fascinating history of the construction.
Your cruise ends today and you'll disembark the ship in the morning to be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure to explore Panama City more by foot or perhaps relax on your last day of the trip.
You'll be transferred to the airport from your hotel in time for your international flight home.
Arrive home today to complete your journey.
