Itinerary
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Yogyakarta.
You will be met on arrival in Yogyakarta for the short transfer to your hotel for the next two nights.
Today you will visit the magnificient Buddhist temple of Borobodur before exploring Candijero village. Late afternoon you will have chance to visit the Hindu monument of Prambanan and enjoy a traditional performance of the Ramayana ballet.
Travel by train to Surabaya and stay the night in a lovely colonial style hotel.
Head to Surabaya's spice markets this morning during your tour of the city before heading to the cooler climates of Mount Bromo. Enjoy the scenic views en route and why not stop for lunch along the way - your guide will suggest some local places to stop (usually a simple service station).
Rise early this morning for the spectacular sunrise at Mount Bromo. Transfer on to the Ijen Plateau.
Trek up Mount Ijen and see the sulphur lakes before then visiting the fishing villages and plantations that are scattered around the area.
Today you will cross over to Bali by ferry with your guide. You then transfer to the Bali Barat National Park.
Day at leisure in the Bali Barat National Park.
Another day in the park to enjoy the snorkelling or diving off Bali's north coast.
Take a scenic drive to Ubud Bali's cultural heart today, stopping off at Lake Bratan en route.
Enjoy a day exploring Ubud and surrounds with your guide. This area is well known for its arts and crafts and is the ideal place for picking up some mementos of your time away. Lunch is included today.
A further day to explore Ubud.
Transfer to the airport today for your flight home.
Arrive home today to complete your journey.
