Itinerary
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Bangkok.
Upon arrival in Bangkok you will be greeted by an Audley representative and transferred to your hotel.The rest of the day is at leisure.
At 0800h this morning you will be met at your hotel and transferred to the train station for the journey to Khorat.On arrival you will be met by your driver and guide and transferred to your accommodation for check-in.Rest of the day at your own leisure with your guide and driver at your disposal.
Today you will explore Phimai and Buriram. The day is flexible so please do discuss with your guide.
Leaving Khorat you travel east to Surin, stopping en route at the temple site of Phanom Rung.
Today you explore some of the lesser visited temple sites such as Prasat Sikhoraphum and Prasat Wat Sa Kamphaeng.
A very early start is required today in order to be at the border for around 1000h. Here you meet your Khmer guide and your 4x4 Jeep. You journey east to the town of Preah Vihear with stops en route, including Banteay Chhmar.Rest of the day with your guide and driver at your disposal.
An early start today as you take some time to explore the temples of Preah Vihear.You will then leave Preah Vihear and travel to Siem Reap with stops en route.This evening you will visit Phare Circus, which receives exceptional client feedback.
This morning you head out to Pre Rup early and combine it with a visit to Banteay Srei, to see it before the crowds arrive later in the day. Breakfast at Sala Kdei, a traditional Khmer House this morning.From here you journey out to Phnom Kulen and the overnight temple safari, the day is relatively flexible so please discuss in detail your preferred temples.
Day two of the temple safari and you wake to the sounds of birds at sunrise.Returning to Siem Reap you have the guide and driver at your disposal to explore any further temples.
Today will be a very long day. You visit Sambor Prei Kuk and the roads can be poor quality so the timings will depend on the journey there.Return to Siem Reap late in the afternoon for your onward flight to Bangkok and home.
Arrive home today to complete your journey.
