Itinerary
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Vancouver. On arrival in Vancouver, make your own way to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to relax and begin exploring this vibrant, cosmopolitan city.
You'll join a small group tour today, which takes you to Vancouver's Stanley Park. Here you'll see the famous totem poles, walk through old growth forest, and take in wonderful views of the Coast Mountains, Coal Harbour and the city skyline. You'll then continue on to...
Finish off your sightseeing before making your own way to Vancouver's cruise ship terminal. Setting sail at 6pm, you'll head towards the spectacular scenery of the Canadian and Alaskan Inside Passage.
On the second day of your cruise you will travel along the rugged coastline of British Columbia. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife along the way as humpback whales and orca are often seen.
Today's highlight will be a visit to Ketchikan, the gateway to Alaska. Once known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', the town's impressive totem pole collection is a 'must see' for visitors interested in First Nations art and culture.
Take in snow-capped peaks, waterfalls and huge glaciers in the 30 mile-long Tracy Arm fjord. Drift among icebergs as you float alongside magnificent Sawyer Glacier. Keep your camera close and look out for whales and seals that can often be found close by. From here yo...
Skagway is famous for being the gateway to the Klondike Gold Rush. When gold was discovered in the area in the late 19th Century over 100,000 people flocked to this remote destination in the hope of making their fortune. There are a host of different options for you t...
This morning you will continue cruising Alaska's Inside Passage, before reaching Sitka: the former centre of Russia's Alaskan empire and today a curious mix of Russian and First Nations heritage. The day's included tour options range from an ocean raft adventure, sea ...
One of the highlights on any Alaskan cruise is a trip to see the massive Hubbard Glacier. This huge glacier often calves off enormous icebergs the size of a ten story building and is an utterly incredible sight to behold.
This morning you will arrive at the scenic sea port of Seward. After disembarking, you will be transferred to Anchorage for your final night in Alaska.
You'll have some time at leisure to complete your Anchorage sightseeing before making your way to the airport in time for your onward journey.
Arrive home today to complete your journey.
