Grand tour of Oman

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Muscat.

Your driver will meet you on arrival at the airport for the transfer to your hotel and check in. You then have the rest of the day to relax after your journey.

Your driver will collect you from your hotel this morning to discover the sights of Muscat, including a visit to the Grand Mosque.

You have a day at leisure and may wish to explore the local souqs or sample some of the local food in one of the cities many restaurants.

Today, head off for the interior of the country, stopping to visit the Seeb, Nakhl and Wadi Bani Awf en route to your destination in Nizwa.

Spend the day visiting mountain villages, travelling along the impressive Wadi Ghul and exploring the attractive Wadi Nakheer.

A second day of exploration, with sights including the Jabreen and Bahla Forts and the isolated Bat tombs, set against the striking mountain scenery.

En route to the desert, visit Izki and Sanaw, before driving through the dunes to the desert camp. Here you can watch the sun set over the dunes, before a traditional dinner back at camp.

Visit the beautiful Wadi Bani Khalid, on your journey from the desert to the coast. Spend the night at the Ras Al-Jinz Centre and have time to rest before your evening excursion to the Green Turtle beach, where you may see turtles hatching.

Today you return to Muscat along the coastal road via Sur, in time to catch your flight to Salalah, in the south of the country.

Enjoy a full day excursion to the north of Salalah, visiting the forts of Mirbat and Taqa.

Today visit the sites in the west of Salalah, including Job's Tomb, Mughsail beach and some truly beautiful coastal scenery.

You have an early morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Muscat, ready for your onward flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
