Today, enjoy a full-day tour of the city's most important districts, from the waterfront Baixa to the rambling heights of Bairro Alto. After lunch, head out to Belém to visit Jerónimos Monastery and the elaborate Torre de Belém.

Venture outside of Lisbon to explore nearby Sintra, believed by Portugal's ancient Celts to be a place of mystical power. The occult-inspired Quinta da Regaleira reflects that belief in its mythological symbolism and hidden grottoes.
