Itinerary
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Lima. Arriving in Lima, you're met by your private guide and assisted to your hotel for the evening.
Return to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado.From Puerto Maldonado you will board a motorized canoe and head into the Amazon to your lodge to begin your adventure.In the evening you will enjoy your first venture into the Amazon for an evening excursion.
Your second day of Amazon activities can include anything from a canopy walk to a canoe trip around an oxbow lake.
This morning you will then return to Puerto Maldonado for your flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival you will be met at the airport by your driver and taken to your hotel via private transfer. After getting settled into your hotel we recommend spending the afternoon and evening relaxing and acclimatizing.
Enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of Cuzco and nearby Inca ruins.
Make your way through the Sacred Valley with visits to one of the most vibrant markets in Peru, the agricultural terraces of Moray, and salt pans at Maras.
This morning you will board the train for Machu Picchu. The journey traces the edge of the white-water Urubamba River as it twists through the increasingly steep-sided jungle valley. From your seat, youâll spot a series of Incan sites before arriving at Aguas Caliente...
Today you may return to Machu Picchu for a morning of independent exploration before catching an afternoon train back to Cuzco.
Today you will be met at your hotel and driven to the airport in a private vehicle for your domestic flight to Lima where you will connect for your international flight home.
Arrive home today to complete your journey.
