The 16 cottages are spread across the hillside and have a relaxed, rustic decor using earthy tones like terracotta and ochre on the walls along with tiled floors, sweeping drapes, a canopy bed and an open-air bathroom. Each also has its own veranda with Balinese day bed and plunge pool along with air conditioning, ceiling fan, flat-screen TV, Bluetooth speaker and Wi-Fi inside the room.
The influence of the hotel’s Italian owner is perhaps most noticeable in the food and drink offered by the resort, with a focus on Italian food. However, the menus also display a strong Caribbean influence and the chefs make good use of fresh, local ingredients and organic herbs from their garden.
The restaurant is set under a thatched roof overlooking the beach and seats just 36 people, creating an intimate atmosphere. It's popular with locals, too, and we recommend reserving a table for dinner at busy times.
The poolside Grenada Beach Bar and Sunset Lounge offers bar snacks from afternoon until early evening and is a lovely place to watch the sunset. There is a happy hour daily between 5-7pm and live music every Sunday evening.
