Itinerary
Day 1- On arriving in Kenya, a driver-guide will meet and transfer you from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Wilson Airport for a short flight to Masai Mara. Upon arriving at Naboisho Airstrip, one of our friendly and knowledgeable Maasai guides will take you on your very first game drive on your way to the camp. He will introduce you to the exceptional wildlife of Naboisho Conservancy, which includes thriving populations of lions, elephants, cheetah and leopards. Arrive at Wilderness Camp, in time for lunch. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch while taking in the exceptional views from our airy dining area. In the late afternoon join your Maasai guide for an afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner, followed by story-sharing around the fireplace. Day 2- Wake up at dawn for an early morning walking safari. During the walk, your Maasai guide will teach you some of the finer details of the savannah, including how to identify animal footprints and different kinds of dung. Return to camp later in the morning for a hearty breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure. We have a collection of interesting safari books that you can read in the comfort of your tent. Wind up your day with an afternoon game drive complete with a Basecamp sundowner. Watch as the gorgeous African sunset dips into the horizon while sipping on a cool drink. Enjoy a night game drive en-route to camp. Spot the nocturnal wildlife of Naboisho. A night safari is a truly exhilarating experience, only permitted inside private. Day 3- After your coffee/tea, you will meet your guide ready to take you for your morning game drive. Witness how the savannah springs to life upon sunrise. Our highly skilled and qualified guide will help you search for the prolific wildlife of Mara Naboisho, sharing their knowledge of the flora and fauna with you as you explore. Return to camp for breakfast before gathering your things. After lunch, bid the Savannah a fond farewell and depart for the airstrip enjoying one more game drive through Naboisho Conservancy. As you drive away, treasure the feeling of coming as a guest, staying as a friend and leaving as a partner – even after a short stay with us.
