We leave Transylvania this morning by train and head to Bucharest, Romania’s bustling metropolis capital city. Once we arrive into Bucharest, we’ll check into our cozy hotel in the centre of town and then have time to explore the city on foot. Bucharest is laden with history, and is known for its wide, tree-lined streets, neoclassical buildings and fashionable parks.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 USD (insurable) is required at the time of booking to secure a space. BIKEHIKE will send a detailed itinerary, invoice and pre-departure package that includes “what to bring” packing list upon receipt of The Participant’s deposit. The balance is due 75 days prior to trip departure. Prices quoted are based on “twin share” travelling and land costs in effect at the time of printing. Prices are subject to change without notice.

The total tour cost includes the tour price (regular or promotional) and the compulsory local payment. The promotional price is subject to change. Check directly with the operator for the latest price offer. The tour operator requires you to pay only the tour price to purchase your travel. The compulsory local payment will be paid when you join the trip. All prices are based on double, twin or triple share occupancy. Solo passengers will be accommodated in a double, twin or triple room according to availability with a passenger(s) of the same gender. Single supplement only needs to be paid if the passenger does not want to share and requests their own room. Discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

Land cancellation fees (days prior to departure): 75 days or more: $500 USD non-refundable deposit. 46 to 74 days: 50% of land cost is non-refundable. 31-45 days: 75% of land cost is non-refundable. 0-30 days: 100% non-refundable. No refunds on no shows or unused portions of trips. All prepaid airfare is subject to at least a $400 cancellation fee. Once ticket is issued, fee depends upon airline cancellation policy.
