Samburu National Reserve is one of Kenya’s protected reserves, home to the only species found in the north (Special Five) – reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, and Beisa Oryx. The park is plentiful with crocodiles that busk on the muddy riverbanks of the Uaso Nyiro River. There are over 450 species of birds identified and aquatic species including, vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches, and others.

    • Services of an English speaking experienced driver/guide
    • Transport in a 4 x 4 Safari Land cruiser with pop up roof for easier game viewing and photography. Exclusive use of safari vehicle throughout the duration of the trip

    • All government taxes and levies
    • Flying doctors air ambulance evacuation in case of a life-threatening accident or injury
    • Safari accessories (First Aid kit, cool box and fire extinguisher) Emergency number 24 hours. All safari vehicles are equipped with RF radio.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Overnight at Sarova Panafric Hotel

Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast rejoin your driver and depart for Samburu arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve Full Day

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Full day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve – Aberdares National Park

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Have breakfast and a morning game drive. Drive to Aberdares to arrive for lunch at Aberdares Country club the base hotel for Ark Hotel. Thereafter transfer to the lodge where you will spend the rest of the day at the tree lodge on the lookout for the animals visiting the watering hole.

Day 5: Aberdares National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Breakfast then travel via Aberdares water falls with packed lunch and depart for Lake Naku arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion hill Lodge

Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Early morning game drive. After breakfast have another game drive and lunch then depart for Nairobi where your safari ends
