Enjoy one week stay in our apartment for 2/4 persons with large terrace offering a breathtaking panoramic view on the Pope’s Palace and the cathedral in Avignon, and on the Fortress Saint Andrew in Villeneuve les Avignon. Situated in a high quality gated residence at the fourth floor in the heart of Avignon, at 50 meters from the place de l'Horloge and 100 meters from the Pope's Palace.
Enjoy a self visit of Avignon at your pace with the tickets for the Popes' Palace, biggest gothic palace in Europe, for the Pont d'Avignon, famous for the French song 'Sur le Pont d'Avignon' & for a 45 mn cruise on the Rhone river.
Collect you rental bike for the day and cycle around Avignon on the Island of La Barthelasse and to Villeneuve-les-Avignon.
Morning : free time
2.00 pm to 7.30 pm : Minibus tour to Nîmes considered as the French Rome with the amphitheater and the Square house + Uzes, wonderful medieval town + Pont du Gard, best preserved part of the Roman aqueduct.
2 hour guided walking tour of Avignon. Stroll through Avignon with your guide and discover the many facets of Avignon. History and anecdotes, from time immemorial to the 20th century, learn more about the city.
9.00 am to 7.00pm : Minibus tour to Orange for visit of the Roman theater & market every Thursday morning + Châteauneuf du Pape for wine tasting + quick look at St Remy de Provence + medieval village Les Baux de Provence + Arles on the footsteps of Van Gogh.
9.00 am to 1.45 pm : Minibus tour to Luberon, a panoramic tour to discover the most beautiful hilltop villages in Provence : Roussillon + Gordes + visit of the lavender museum.
