Touch down in Halifax, pick up your rental car, and drop your bags at your hotel. Tonight, set off on foot to explore the neighborhood!
Up and at 'em! Halifax has tons to do, so be sure to get an early start. Why not spend an hour or two at a few of Halifax's many museums? Kick back at the Public Gardens, hit a craft brewery for a tasting, or hit the Halifax Boardwalk for more fun.
Check out of your hotel this morning and make your way to Western Shore. This drive will take about an hour. Once you've arrived, you can check out the local activity or set off on a day trip!
Today you'll make the 2-hour drive to Digby, home to the world-famous Digby scallops. Indulge in sumptuous seafood and check out a local farmer's market. Consider treating yourself to a whale-watching or seabird tour.
Next, head to Baddeck. Located in the heart of Cape Breton Island, this bustling village is a charmer! Kick back with a refreshing drink, watch the sunset, and take in magnificent views of Bras d’Or Lake.
