Solo passengers will be accommodated in a double, twin or triple room according to availability with a passenger(s) of the same gender. Single supplement only needs to be paid if the passenger does not want to share and requests their own room. Discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

Accommodation
During the tour we spend the following number of nights in hotels of 2 - 3 star standard in twin or double rooms with private bathroom: 1 night Delhi, 2 nights Jaipur, 1 night Agra, 2 nights Varanasi, 1 night Lumbini, and 2 nights Kathmandu. We also have 2 nights in a comfortable jungle lodge in Chitwan and 1 night in an A/C sleeper berth on the overnight train to Varanasi. Except the sleeper, all accommodation is on a twin share basis. If you are travelling by yourself we will pair you with another individual traveller of the same sex for room sharing. Single rooms are avaiable for a supplement.
If you, or any member of your party, decide to cancel your travel arrangements at any time, written notification from the person who made the booking or your travel agent on your behalf must be received at our offices. Cancellation charges as shown below will be applicable.
Period before departure within which notice of cancellation received by us and Amount of cancellation charge
More than 56 days: Deposit plus any air ticket cancellation charges
56 - 30 days: 50% of total trip cost plus any air ticket cancellation charges
Less than 30 days: 100% of total trip cost including air ticket cancellation
If you wish to transfer to another holiday you will be asked to pay an administration charge of £100, plus any further costs we incur in making this alteration. You should be aware that costs incurred in transferring a booking could increase the closer to the departure date they are made and you should therefore contact us as soon as possible. You cannot transfer your holiday later than 10 weeks prior to departure.
