Kusadasi - Pergamum - Ayvalik. Driving north today we make a stop at the Roman ruins of Pergamum and its impressive hillside amphitheatre. These impressive ruins were part of a once rich and powerful Greek city dating back to Hellenistic Period of 323-30 BC. We also visit the neighbouring Asclepion - a Roman precursor to modern-day hospitals before continuing onto to Ayvalik.
Ayvalik - Gallipoli - Canakkale/Ayvalik. Today we explore ANZAC Cove and the many memorials dotted across the WW1 battlefields.
