Itinerary

Thursday. Welcome to Namibia! Arrive into Windhoek where you will be met and transferred to our campsite. Enjoy some free time before meeting your fellow passengers and crew at the welcome meeting scheduled at 17:00. The rest of the evening is at leisure to relax, or perhaps head to the famous Joe’s Beer House, a short walk from the campsite.

Okavango Delta - Maun. Catch another game walk in the morning before we return to Maun by Mokoro and vehicle transfer, arriving around lunchtime. You may choose to finish the experience with an optional scenic flight over the Delta (depending on weather/availability).
Maun – Nata Region. Departing the Delta, we drive through the unpopulated landscape, where donkeys roam freely, to our campsite. Upon arrival, you may choose between a game drive or a bush walk in this expansive region.
Nata Region - Chobe. Today we drive north to the town of Kasane, where the Chobe River borders Botswana, Namibia, and Zambia. We set up camp on the banks of the river, and the next morning is free to visit Kasane, or to just have a lie-in. Our next overnight excurs...

18 and over.Overland Age Policy:To travel on one of our overland family departure safaris children need to be a minimum age of 6 for Southern Africa safaris (Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa) and a minimum of 8 years old for East Africa safaris (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia). If a safari includes both East and Southern Africa then the minimum age will be 8 years old. Please note that they will be travelling with the normal group. These are not separate family tours. IMPORTANT: South Africa and Botswana regulations aimed at fighting child trafficking:'All parents travelling with children into or out of SA and/or Botswana may be asked to show the child’s unabridged (full) birth certificate, and where only one parent is accompanying, parental or legal consent for the child to travel (eg an affidavit from the other parent, a court order or – if applicable – a death certificate).
