Itinerary

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by one of our representatives and driven to your accommodation for the night. Depending on when you arrive, set out and explore the sights such as the Karen Blixen Museum or the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. In the evening dine out at one of the local restaurants in town. Accommodation
Ngong House, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa
Built entirely from wood the treehouses at Ngong's Kenya accommodation are on two levels with a bedroom area upstairs and a living area on the lower floor. They are raised 15 ft from the ground to gain an uninterrupted view of the Ngong Hills over unspoiled bush. They have grass roofs made in the traditional African way.
The treehouses are designed with extreme comfort in mind for the guests Kenya accommodation, yet the interiors have a decidedly rustic feel. The talents of regional artists and artisans add many of the finishing touches, such as hand woven rugs, bedcovers, lamps and stained glass. Large four poster beds grace the upper-level bedroom area, promising a luxurious nights sleep at ones Kenya accommodation.
On the lower level there is a comfortable sitting area and a dining table enabling honeymooners to be served a four course, candle lit dinner in the intimacy of their tree house. Decorated with beautiful paintings Ngong's Kenya accommodation gives you the feeling that you are in another world.
Ngong House has a reputation of serving refined food prepared with local ingredients; game meat, fresh lake fish, seafood flown in from the Indian Ocean, all prepared with a large variety of fresh vegetables, in tasty yet healthy way. The Kenyan chefs have been specially trained by several visiting chefs from Belgium, to provide you with the best meals for your Kenya accommodation. For those who prefer, there will be a selection of vegetarian dishes.
A pastry chef from Bruges (Belgium) spent a season at Ngong a few years ago. Lunch is served in the garden under one of the many indigenous trees. Dinner is served in a half open thatched rondavel at the Kenya accommodation with a huge fireplace and plenty of candles, creating this unique dinner atmosphere only found at Ngong House.
Elsas Kopje, Meru National Park, Kenya
Elsas Kopje is unlike other Kenya safari camps. Gasp-worthy open plan cottages and the private house set a new level for romance. Views to write home about greet you at every turn and its not hard to see why guests love Elsas Kopje. This camp has won many awards in a variety of categories including ecotourism.
The camp is cleverly constructed so as to be almost invisible from the front and many natural features have been incorporated into the unique design and décor. The main building has a bar, lounge and dining room as well as a beautiful horizon pool overlooking the plains of Meru. Elsas Kopje runs on a combination of generator power and solar inverter batteries. Bottled water is provided.
The Cottages (7 doubles and 2 twins)
There are 9 en-suite cottages that are built into the curve of the rocks on Mughwango Hill. Each suite has an open-front design with views from many angles and comprises of a main bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a private deck.
Some suites have an outdoor bath and one suite has a sitting room instead of a deck. Four suites can accommodate an extra bed while one suite can fit 2 extra beds for children under the age of 16 years. A maximum of 4 extra beds can be arranged in camp at any one time.
The Honeymoon Suite
This delightful retreat is built over 3 levels and includes a sitting room, private deck, spacious bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. This suite can be converted into a family cottage to accommodate 2 extra beds for children under the age of 16 years.
The Private House
This stylish and exclusive home is set slightly apart from the main lodge and has a private garden and pool. The house comprises of an open master bedroom (with a dreamy en-suite bathroom and dressing room) and a twin en-suite bedroom plus spacious living and dining areas which open seamlessly onto the pool and garden.
Cottars 1920s Safari Camp, Masai Mara, Kenya
This family-friendly and luxury Masai Mara lodge provides high comfort for discerning guests. Thoughtful features and homely touches ensure every visitor feels at home in spacious, well-appointed surroundings.
Tented Suites
There are 10 white canvas safari tents at Cottars 1920s Camp which include 1 honeymoon suite, 5 double suites (one with twin beds) and 4 family suites. All tents have vintage furnishings, verandas and en suite bathrooms with adjoining dressing rooms. The family tents consist of 2 en-suite bedrooms with a shared living and dining area as well as a cosy fire room.
The tents are spread over a wide area to ensure intimacy and privacy. There are 2 main tents providing central guest areas for reading, relaxing and dining in style. Communal meals in the camp follow a delicious set menu, or you can request private dining. The pool and spa area are ideal places to relax in the heat of the day.
The Homestead
This contemporary and private, self-contained house can sleep 10 people in 5 en-suite bedrooms. The home can only be booked exclusively and comes with a full complement of dedicated and discreet staff including a chef and safari guide with a game vehicle. Guests can use the pool at the main camp until the house pool is completed.
This huge home has all mod cons such as a computer, printer and internet access throughout, satellite TV and DVD and consists of a spacious living area, dining room and a fabulous viewing deck. All the bedrooms also boast magnificent views. A massage therapist is available on a daily basis and additional staff such as a personal trainer and bodyguards can be arranged on request.

Cancellations of confirmed bookings may only take place according to the procedure outlined in this clause. All requests for cancellations shall be made by the client in writing to Siyabona and shall only be effective on the date of actual receipt by Siyabona. The following cancellation fees shall be applicable and shall be calculated by reference to the total booking cost ("TBC") of the services booked for by the client.
Siyabona entitled to act as agent or principal with regard to the provision of the services. 56 days or more notice 75 percent of the TBC shall be refunded.
- 55 - 49 days notice is given 50 percent of the TBC shall be refunded
- 48 - 42 days notice is given 25 percent of the TBC shall be refunded
- 41 - 35 days or less notice given no refund of the TBC shall be made
No refunds shall however be made to clients who make bookings less than 35 days prior to embarkation (for this purpose, embarkation shall mean the date on which a client is booked to commence travel or to commence an excursion for which the services are booked whichever is the greater), nor shall refunds be given to clients who arrive early, late or who do not show for a booking. In the event of a client terminating a booking for whatever reason, no refund shall be made unless with the prior written approval of a director of Siyabona.
Clients are therefore strongly recommended to obtain their own comprehensive travel insurance to cover such contingencies.
Any cancellations made, in terms of these standard trading conditions shall be subject to the following deductions and administrative charges:
Refunds to credit cards: the relevant cancellation fee, less a 6 percent credit card surcharge and an administrative charge.
Direct bank deposits: the relevant cancellation fee, less actual bank charges debited by Siyabona's bankers, less an administrative charge.
Forex transfers: the relevant cancellation fee, less actual bank charges debited by Siyabona's bankers, less an administrative charge.
Cash payments: the relevant administration charges, less actual bank charges debited by Siyabona's bankers, less an administrative charge.
