What's this trip about?

The unique wildlife of the Galápagos has no fear of humans—we walk trails right among nesting seabirds and colonies of marine iguanas that take no notice of us, an experience unlike any other! The green Eastern Islands of this famed archipelago have a very diverse ecosystem and a remarkable number of species found nowhere else. Our active adventure includes Tower, prime nesting site of red-footed boobies, South Plaza, with its hybrid iguanas, and Santa Fé, home to such endemics as the Galápagos hawk, and a great place to snorkel with enchanting sea lions. Life on board the Mary Anne is an absolute delight, with delicious meals savored on deck or in the salon, great talks with your naturalist guide, and unforgettable tropical sunrises and sunsets

Accommodation

Ship & cabin information
Mary Anne
In legendary square-rigger tradition, the Mary Anne offers the truly romantic ambiance of a tall sailing ship. With her elegant design, she is one of the most beautiful and romantic yachts in the islands. The Mary Anne features deck space for relaxing outdoors and enjoying the incredible island views. She hosts just 16 guests, so you’ll have a wonderfully personal experience of the Galápagos. The inviting wood-paneled lounge features a small bar, a library stocked with great books on the history and wildlife of the islands, and an entertainment center. Dining is either in the salon or al fresco on deck—a delightful experience, and also a great place to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset or looking at the stars. You are welcome to help with raising the sails, take a turn at the wheel, or join the Captain on the bridge to observe navigation—cruising the islands on the beautiful Mary Anne is an active and unforgettable experience. The top-notch crew—most of whom are from these islands—provides great service (a 2:1 passenger-to-crew ratio).
