"My favourite travel agent for SE Asia. Thuong was kind and thoughtful. She greeted us on arrival at our hotel, and made sure our 10 day tour, North to South Vietnam, was perfect. We added a trip to Laos and Seam Reap....no problem. Swallow organised everything for us, whatever we wanted. A couple of years later, I contacted Thuong for another holiday, this time to Northern Vietnam, the Sapa regions. This was stunning, and the hotels she chose were so beautiful. "We booked a trip with TravelLocal and received a local guide in Jordan. The communication was bad and we had to keep correcting the information. We finally had an itinerary with the correct information and no notification of cancelation fees so we went ahead and confirmed it. Less than a week later we experienced an emergency and reached out to cancel. We were then told there were no refunds. Then told the cancelation policy was in the booking offer (as TravelLocal's policy says), but it was proven not to be included in the offer. We were then told we would be given a minimal refund, which we refused holding onto the truth. We were then told the cancelation policy was 30%, then we were told 20%. The story kept changing. What did not change was the RUDE, UNPROFESIONAL, ACCUSING communications from the tour guide we were given by TravelLocal. We reached out to TravelLocal for assistance and received NO RESPONSE. Here is an example of one communication: "th way i see it , even with cheaper price , adding the cancellation fees , you will end up paying more that original amount. i can see and advise you that COmpleteing the booking with us as it is wiuld actuially cost you" It was a horrible experience and I will look for a professional company I can trust with my future travel needs."

"I just got home from a wonderful trip hosted by Chris Hill with Hands Up Holidays. He took myself and a few other travel advisors from around the US to Costa Rica to give us a taste in 4 days of what we could send our clients to do. Highlights from this trip were touring the amazing food markets in San Jose and then having a cooking class with Eric and Maria in Maria’s home and enjoying the fabulous ceviche and empanadas we made. Then touring the Finca Rosa Blanca organic coffee plantation and Poas volcanoe tour on our way to the Arenal area. Then we were able to enjoy Tabacon resort and thermal spa. Hot springs create warm pools and waterfalls through the property. Gorgeous and so restorative. Then we were able to explore the rain forest at Sky Hike and see the breathtaking views of the mountains, rain forest and Arenal lake while zip lining. Quite an adventure!! But what made this trip unique and so extra special was the volunteer opportunities we were able to participate in. It was only a short trip but the time we were able to work in the medical clinic that serves mostly refugees from Nicaragua was so rewarding. Being able to speak with the patients and see what this wonderful program FIMRC.org is doing first hand and contribute even if just for little while,really filled your heart. The medical facilities, day care, special needs programming and soup kitchen are all so beautifully run but with so much need for supplies, funds and extra hands. Thank you Chris for this experience!! What a special company this is! Chris Hill has built a wonderful company combining luxury travel, cultural immersion and volunteer opportunities and partnerships. This would be a wonderful experience for my clients that want to explore the world and gIve back to the communities they visit. My clients will love Hands Up Holidays."

"We had a new year family trip to Rajasthan in Dec 2019 with Safehand Travels and the overall experience was amazing. Some key highlights as below: 1. The driver was very jovial and helpful throughout the trip and was driving with all safety. 2. Guides in each city were amazing. Would especially like to callout the Jaisalmer (Mr. Khatri) and Udaipur (cannot recall name) guides for their unique way to present the history to us. 3. Rohit from safehands was always a call away to solve any problem and used to do regular check-ins from his side to ensure that our trip does not have any hiccups. We got a bit late in reaching Jaisalmer sand dunes and missed the evening Camel ride. Rohit helped us to compensate the same with an early morning Jeep safari the next day. 4. Driver was always ready to make minor detours from the charted path to meet any of our immediate needs."
