If you cancel your holiday
You, or any member of your party, may cancel your travel arrangements at any time. Written notification from the person who made the booking must be received at our offices. Since we incur costs, you will have to pay cancellation charges as follows:
Period before departure within which cancellation notice received
If More than 90 days then then Amount of cancellation fee is Deposit
If 89-50 days, then the Amount of cancellation fee is 50% of total holiday price
If 49-31 days, then the Amount of cancellation fee is 50% of total holiday price
If 30-19 days, then the Amount of cancellation fee is 75% of total holiday price
If 18-15 days, then the Amount of cancellation fee is 80% of total holiday price
If 14 days or less, then the Amount of cancellation fee 100% of total holiday price
IMPORTANT: If travel arrangements include American Queen Steamboat Company, EagleRider Motorcycles or Rocky Mountaineer train, cancellation charges are 100% on or after the holiday balance due date.
In certain cases the price of your holiday is calculated relative to the number of occupants in a room, or passengers travelling. If one of these occupants cancels, not only will there be a cancellation charge, but also the remaining members of your party may have to pay an additional sum. No refunds for unused travel/services due to changes of inclination while on holiday, even if cancellation has been notified to the supplier.
