Itinerary
Ride through the famous neighborhood of Palm Springs. Enjoy a private dinner and reception at the luxurious Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs, your home for the next 3 nights.
Your introduction to strikingly beautiful Joshua Tree National Park begins at the Park’s Visitor Center. Ride by huge and unusual rock formations through a winding canyon that crosses the San Andreas Fault.
Hike through Indian Canyons followed by Palm Canyon’s fan palm tree oasis after an introduction from a native Cahuilla Indian Park Ranger. You can also choose to ride to, or to and from, the start and end point of the planned hike.
Visit the village of Old Town La Quinta with Spanish influenced traditional architecture and a tasteful downtown. This evening we will shuttle to Borrego Springs.
The morning ride through Anza Borrego State Park features palm canyons, cacti, and plentiful wildlife, including bighorn sheep. Spend the evening relaxing at La Casa del Zorro where stargazing is at its finest in this “Dark Sky Community.” Join us tonight for a farewell dinner at La Casa del Zorro.
Hike along a boulder-strewn river bed to one of the region’s only native palm canyons. The contrast of the rugged desert stone and the green palm trees is striking. Boulders the size of houses cause the trail to wind back and forth. We transport you back to Palm Springs after lunch.

Solo passengers will be accommodated in a double, twin or triple room according to availability with a passenger(s) of the same gender. Single supplement only needs to be paid if the passenger does not want to share and requests their own room. Discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

All requests for cancellation must be received in writing. Refunds will be processed 30 days following written receipt by Sojourn of notice of cancellation. Cancellation penalties will be calculated based upon the date of receipt of cancellation notification. There is a non-refundable $150 processing fee per person for each cancelled reservation to cover administration and fees incurred by Sojourn.
Cancellations 90-61 days prior to tour departure will be charged 30% of the purchase price. Cancellations 60-31 days prior to tour departure will be charged 65% of the purchase price. Cancellations 30-0 days prior to tour departure will be charged 100% of the purchase price. There are no refunds for cancellation after the tour departure date or for no-shows.
Sojourn will not refund for any unused portion of your tour. Sojourn will not make exception to these policies for any reason including weather or personal emergencies and as such strongly encourages travel insurance coverage for all travelers.
Children under 12 years of age may be conditionally accepted on Sojourn certain tours. A parent or legal guardian must accompany all children under the age of 18 throughout the tour.
