Charm of the Dolomites

Day 1 London - Verona - Rodengo Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Gatwick Airport for a direct, scheduled British Airways flight to Verona. On arrival, we transfer to the family-run Alpenland Hotel Rodeneggerhof (3T+) where a welcome drink will be waiting for us. Day 2 Vipiteno - Bressanone Today we depart for Vipiteno, and continue to the charming village of Bressanone, the oldest town in the area, with Roman lanes and Gothic town houses. You are more likely to hear German spoken here than Italian. Day 3 Scenic drive - Dairy visit - Lago di Braies A leisurely drive along the winding mountain roads, with glorious summer views over meadowland and high-perched villages. We experience the making and tasting of some wonderful Alpine products at a local dairy and continue onwards to view the small but beautiful alpine lake of Lago di Braies before returning to Rodengo. Day 4 Bolzano - Merano We travel to the charming, old village of Bolzano. Here we have included the entrance at the Archaeological Museum, where you can see the 5,300-year-old ‘Ice Man’ found in the glaciers of the Alps. We move on to Merano, aptly called the ‘City of Flowers’. Day 5 Innsbruck We drive to Innsbruck for a guided walking tour. There is some free time in Innsbruck, before returning to the hotel. Day 6 Trento Today we visit the spa town of Trento, with its medieval and Renaissance centre, cathedral and Castello de Buonconsiglio. Day 7 Brunico - Ortisei Our first stop today is Brunico. We then continue to Ortisei and enjoy a cable car ride over the Seisser Alm region, scattered with alpine meadows and wooden farmsteads. Day 8 Rodengo - Verona - London We travel to the airport for a direct, scheduled British Airways flight to London Gatwick or Heathrow Airport. On arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
